Premier Series

The first race of the Premier series playoffs serving up anything but pint sized helpings of action as the drivers took over the Chili bowl in the dirt midgets. Heat racing got underway with Thaddeus Marshall #89, Carl Handwerk #18, Brandon Mettler #15, Dane Simpson #96 and Paul Butler #77 winning the 5 heat races. Patrick Shelton #04 and Christopher Hamilton #64 would navigate the alphabet soup of mains to earn their spots in the feature. Butler showed that not making the playoffs wouldn’t stop him, as he put in a solid play for the wildcard spot, finishing 5th. Handwerk was able clinch his spot in the next round of playoffs, beating out Marshall for the checkered flag.
