Premier Series
Known for its unusual combinations the Core Premier Series did not disappoint with 31 laps at Barber Motorsports Park in none other than asphalt Street Stocks. Four different drivers would take their turns leading the field through the winding course including John Nobinger #44 who sponsored the race, as well as race winner Patrick Shelton #04. Mark Keetman #52 was the highest placing D-Series driver, bringing home a 4th place finish. Kevin Foster # 8 was the big mover of the race, finishing 6th after starting from the 10th spot. With only 2 races left in the season the boys of Core head to the “Sprint Car Capital of the World” to battle it out for the last few contested spots before playoffs.
